Writing

Mrs Patterson visited our classroom to explain to us what 'Peer Writing' was.
She said this would help us with our writing skills.

We did a 'Human Treasure Hunt'. We had to go round the children in our room and ask some questions that would help us in our writing.

We discussed 'Social Skills' that we need to use when helping during 'Peered Writing'.
Levi is showing how we smile and look at our buddy when speaking to them.

We discussed the 'Social Skills' we need to have before we start our 'Peered Writing'.
I love spring when the blooming blossoms sprout from the ground, the new born lambs catch my eye and the fresh air that surrounds me. But I don’t like spring when the pollen runs through my nose and gives me hay fever.

Mia Davison

I love the beautiful flowers that explode with colour, the prancing lambs and the longer days that fill me with happiness. I cherish the birds that fill my heart with pleasure and the bees buzzing around my garden. Nature bursts into life and the rivers flow freely.
But I don’t like the dreadful hay fever and the itchy grass.
 I LOVE SPRING!!!
By Elenoa Asi.

I cherish watching the butterflies as they spread their joy around us. I enjoy watching pink and white blossoms on trees and lying on the fresh green grass gazing at the twinkling sun. I don’t like scampering around catching the annoying butterflies as they munch through the lettuces and I especially don’t like the soccer season ending.
By Samuel Plieger

I love the beautifully bright coloured rainbows, the cute new beginnings of baby lambs and the colourful choirs of shining flowers singing. I also love the sweet smell of gardens that are full of sprouting blossoms and the native chirping sounds of birds. I LOVE SPRING. But I don’t like spring when the annoying bees sting you because it hurts very much.
BY JOHN ORILLO

I love spring when new baby lambs catch my eye, the night sky is so bloomy. The short pj’s, the late night BBQ’s. But I don’t like spring when the Bees come and sting you.

I love the sweet smell of beautiful blossoms and great guinea pigs. I love fresh air and tasty wonderful water too. I saw a lot of wiggly worms and the colourful cows and great gorillas. I love the fat fish and crazy cats but I don’t like the creepy crawly wasps
and scary sound of thunder, prickly roses and painful prickles.

I  like  the  new  baby  lambs  in  the hot  spring  day when they’re born. I love the spouting flowers in spring. I love the green leaves in the paddocks. I love the barbecues on a hot spring day. But I don’t like the wasps in the flax bushes when they’re hiding and they sting me.

I love the new baby lambs, chirping birds, touch rugby, cricket season and playing with my pets. But I don’t like the buzzy bees and rugby season finishing so early.

I love the chirping birds waking me up, the sun marching through my window, looking at the new born baby lambs and baby cows leaping all around the field. I love the colourful blooming flowers and the rosy red apples but what I don’t like about spring is when the dreadful bees come whizzing past and start flying all around your head.
By Isabella McNaught

I love new beginnings, frolicking lambs, lush Green grass, touch rugby, chirping birds, capturing white butterflies in the net and inspecting the broccoli for green caterpillars. But I don’t like the white butterflies gobbling up the vegetables.

I adore the smell of fresh clean air all around me, I love the buzzing bees and fluttering butterflies flying peacefully around the fields. I admire the blooming flowers bringing colour to the fields, I cherish the early mornings and the sun marching through the curtains, making my bedroom warm and bringing light to the house. I delight in fresh, ripe pears and ripe apples, but what I detest is the stinging bees and the grey drizzling mornings.

By Sylvia Lavrijsen

I love the buzzing bees that give us amazing delicious honey, the burning sand between my toes and the beautiful white wool that the amazing sheep give us. But I don’t like the early frosty mornings and the sharp stingy nettles around me.
